Even this year comes back in Lignano the event "Lignano d'A...Mare" for the period of the Christmas celebrations. It is the 13rd year of this event, a great achievement and surely even this year it will be beautiful spend the holidays enjoying many events in a magical atmosphere like that of Christmas by the sea.

The Christmas program in Lignano starts Thursday 8 of Decembre with the opening of the Sand Nativity and ends Sunday 29 of January with its closing. During this period we will have the arrival of Santa Claus, the New Year party in Piazza Fontana and Terrazza a Mare with dinner and fireworks fired from the sea, the bonfire on the beach and the arrival of the Befana by boat from the sea of Lignano .

As usually, the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro, the pedestrian street, Piazza Fontana and the square facing Terrazza a Mare, will hosts most part of the events, like the Christmas Markets and the New Year's Party. Of course there will be also the events, that made famous Lignano in winter time: the Sand Nativity on the beach near Terrazza a Mare and the Ice skating rink.

To accompany the different events and the days, there are the food and wine stalls of various associations of the city and of restaurants, bars and pubs in Lignano and surroundings.
